The Chemistry Building was a huge complex. This is the southwest view along the back side, along Nauklerstraße. To the far right, distant corner of the building, was the Hörsaal, where a plaque was dedicated to Lothar Meyer in 1911. (In the Hörsal to the left of the blackboard was the Meyer plaque; to the right of the blackboard was placed a plaque dedicated to Hans von Pechman, 1850-1902, famous for his heterocyclic synthetic chemistry). The plaques are now stored in archives and are inaccessible. A copy of the Lothar Meyer plaque was made in 1988 for the Lothar-Meyer-Gymnasium in Varel. {LINK: to Varel} Courtesy, Peter-Klaus Zeller, Tübingen Universität.
